Jungle Island was founded in 1936 by Franz Sher under the name "Parrot Jungle", characterized by its location near to the famous South Beach. Jungle Island is an interactive animal park in Watson Island, Miami, Florida, USA.
It was originally a forest parrot, which moved from Pinecrest in the
original suburbs to its current location to the east of downtown Miami. In 2007, the park was renamed again to the jungle island.
